Tech Master!

On the 5th of September some people from our class went to Hornby Primary School to do a toolkit. We had to show people what we could do on devices, and my group showed people how to do 'Google Drawings'. We did well, and I had fun. My favourite toolkit there was on ' how to do a screencastify' by Lauren, Mika,  Cayde and Shukoor. We got to explore new things on screencastify like 'how to turn the webcam on'. I found out how to draw on the screen while I'm recording. Here are some pictures from the day.:D

William Pike!

Yesterday William Pike visited our class. William Pike is a New Zealander who lost his leg during an accident during a trip with his friend. He told us his story and I heard a lot of ooing and aahing :D.

For the William Pike Challenge We do Passion Projects, Outdoor Activities and Community Service.
I have 40% on outdoor activities which I am proud of.

Book Award Day!

Today (August 7th) we went to New Zealand Book Award Day. We saw Authors from New Zealand and they explained their books and what they do. 

Here are my 2 favourite authors:

Leonie Agnew; She wrote books called 'The impossible', 'Super Finn' and 'Conrad Coopers Last Stand'. She is a children's Author. Her first book was entitled 'Super Finn'.

Jenny Cooper; She is an award winning illustrator, illustrating over 70 books. My favourite book of hers is 'Do your ears hang low'. She illustrates all kinds of books, including children's books.

Netball Zones! :)

Netball Zones.

On the 1st of August. We had netball zones at Rolleston College. We lost all the games apart from one that we tied. Apart from losing, we did really good. I got player of the day because of my intersecting. Most of the games we kept the teams on their toes and were pretty close to winning. I was really proud of my team and I can't wait to do winter sports netball. 

Holidays Recount

MEGA Air!

In the school Holidays I went to Mega Air Trampolining Park. I went with my Friends, Micaiah, Samara, My Brother And my friend Kimberley. First I went to the tumble area, when I got in, I saw a sign stating 'You can only jump off the boxes if you can jump onto them.' So I tried to jump onto all the boxes. It turned out I could jump onto ALL the boxes apart from the highest one. 

After I started getting really tired, then I went to a platform where you can jump onto a inflatable pit. When I first hit it, I sunk and I felt like I was going to hit the ground. It took SUCH A LONG TIME to get out. I peeked out and then saw that all the people in line were getting impatient and annoyed. So I tried my hardest to get out of the pit. surprisingly, I kept falling over and I could see that now the whole line was getting really annoyed. Annoyed, my friend yelled out, "HURRY UP WE ARE ALL WAITING". I finally got out.

After the inflatable pit, I went back to the tumble area and surprisingly I did three flips in a row without any jumps in between!

I had a really fun time at mega air!

Hockey Zones

Yesterday, Most of my class went to either Hockey or Football zones. I went to Hockey Zones.
It was really fun, We did pretty good, The last game was the best for us but we still lost. We Did really good for our first time, I had to get used to my mouthguard because it hurt when I first put it on.
