The new maths and other learning site!

On Wednesday, my maths group tried a new site for maths. It is called Study Ladder, you get to create your own avatar and your own room. I like this site because you get to choose what you want to do. There are maths games and maths tasks; I like playing the maths games because they motivate you to do maths.

I think we have to face that some senior students get a bit carried away sometimes (me). Since the first day, the students of our class have been spamming our teachers phones with selfies. 😋

Argh me hearty! Let's learn how to sail!

On Wednesday My class went sailing. After we talked about how to sail with the coaches, then it was morning tea and my friends and I had a swim in the lake. I got onto the boat after we had a talk about turning and after I had had a swim. My friends called out to me then I turned to them and they made 'look out' gesture with their hands but I didn't get it so I turned around and saw the sailing pole coming towards me and It knocked me over into the water ☺️. The coach had to help me up into the boat again and then I turned to my friends and they were laughing their heads off 😂.  Here are some pictures to show you what it was like!

This week we have been focusing on our hero values. We created videos to show one of our values, we chose the value R which stands for responsible citizens. Then we chose the subject ‘Be ready to learn.’ Here is the video we created, enjoy!
