My poetry Anthology

  1. Hi my name is Mr Breach and I am one of the teachers from the West Wing (Room 7&8) at South Hornby School. I was amazed at how powerful your metaphors were in this poem because each one painted a detailed picture of your cat. Is Queenie your inspiration in any other way? I have a cat that looks exactly like Queenie but his name is Norman!

  6. Hello Ariana your poems are really cool you are really good at thinking of poems. The one that I like the most was the one about brother’s in that one I think you were right, brother’s are annoying. Next time I think you should create a poem about things that you really like.

  7. Well done Ariana I'm Lauren and I love how you talked all about the cat. I Loved the details! I have a cat at home and it is also like a lot of the things you mentioned. It is perfect that you don’t have to change anything! What breed is Queenie? This is my blog link shslaurena.blogspot.co.nz Please check it out!

  9. I really enjoyed reading your Cinquain about Ariana. She sounds as if she is a fun person to be around. Does the picture you chose reflect Ariana’s personality?

  14. Kiaora I am from South Hornby School. I saw your poems and they are nice and not too long. I especially like your tree poem. Quick question... is Queenie your cat? Also the colour in black on the Queenie poem is hard to read. It would be a good idea to change it to white.

  15. Kia Ora, my name is Abigail from Waikowhai Primary school. I really like the poems, especially the haiku. I love writing, so this reminds me of the poetry competition we have done this week. I think you could put some information about the poetry anthology on top of your work. I wonder how you write your poems cause I find it hard to make one? Great Job!
