100 word challenge.

The piercing sound of screaming filled my ears. I darted my way across the room over to the cobweb filled window. The cobweb blocked my vision. I could barely see what was happening. That’s when I decided to race to the door to see the dark looming skies outside. My eyes caught a megalithic sized spider. Questions were growing on me. My brain seemed like it was reducing its size. I had to find a way to escape. The spider seemed to be searching for something to devour. I was motionless; trying to process what was going on. I heard a creak. I turned my head to see a gigantic spider...

100 word challlenge

I take off. I don’t know where I am going, but I’ll figure something out. I have a friend across town that I can go to, but that's about an hours walk. Well, I’ll have to do it anyway, No one else will accept me. I am finally here. I knock on the door, though there is a doorbell. Its 10:37p.m but she’ll be awake. She answers and without having to explain why i was there, led me into the spare room. I sprang into bed. The material felt like a hard spiky blanket. She walks out then the door closes. A mysterious voice fills my ears.

DigiAwards

A few weeks ago, I did DigiAwards with my friends, Bree, Evie, And I.

Lisa Carrington Visit.

A few weeks ago, Lisa Carrington came to our school. She is an olympic medalist. We all got to shake her hand, and she brought her medals she has one bronze and one gold.

UC biology trip

A few months ago, I went to Canterbury University for a biology trip with my class. I saw a lot of fish and sea animals. Here are some photos so you can see more of what we did. I learnt that people put ink on cardboard then put food on the cardboard so then animals smell the food, then they go onto the cardboard to get the food. When they go on the cardboard their pawprints show on the ink. Then the people collect the cardboard to see the pawprints and identify the animal. I found this interesting.

Cantamaths

For cantamaths, I did a brochure on how much it would cost go for a trip to rio. This includes accommodation, transport, flights (really expensive business flights, bed, tv, food.) This is what it looks like.

Year 6s @manual

On thursday, the year 6s went to manual with the year 7/8s  and we decorated cookies with different colored icing and then in the next class we did  a challenge we had to build a bridge with newspaper, sellotape, 7 popsicle sticks, 10 straws and some string. It had  to hold 500 grams and last for ten seconds. The group who had the longest bridge and held for ten seconds won. Bree and I won and we got a HUGE bag of popcorn each. Then, we went another class, in this class we sewed our own emoji badges, if you didn't want to make an emoji badge, then you could sew something else.
